What we aim for...
1
Opportunities
Improved access to an aviation career, the academic program will need to strengthen collaboration and partnership efforts with the industry.
2
Industry Growth
We continually seek business and industry input to academic program development to ensure graduates are trained and educated to meet the need of the air transportation industry.
3
Research
This project will provide a platform for collaborative research opportunities between our university and other colleges and universities.
4
Build a bigger team
We believe that faculty should be involved in initiatives that educate the general community, rather than staying in their respective disciplines.
WHO ARE WE?
We work to create the next generation of aviators and aviation Legends
We are a team of passionate aviation enthusiasts, who have committed to help as many people as possible realize their dream of becoming pilots. We provide resources and guidance through our courses, workshops, events and financial assistance for those pursuing a career in aviation.
The core of the program is ground instruction in preparation for the KCAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test and preparation for flight training by use of a flight simulation software program. Additional activities include:
Taking a Young Eagle Flight (at low charge).
Field trips to aviation venues.
Opportunity to participate in the holiday Aviation/Flying Camp.
Flying radio control models.
“Very good team that Pharris has. They are friendly and know how to take of the children and communicate with parents. My child is still young and knows so much about planes.”
